Saudi Arabia closes down 10 medical facilities for violating health criteria
RIYADH- The Saudi Health Ministry closed down this month ten medical complexes in Riyadh for violating medical practice regulations, the Saudi News Agency reported on Tuesday.
The violations were found during their regular health inspections, as a result, the Minister of Health, Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rubea ordered the shutting down of the ten medical complexes for failing to meet health criteria.
The violations including lack of ambulances, poor emergency services as well as licences expired or working without licences.
The complexes will not reopen until they meet the medical practice regulations and provide safe treatment for patients.
