August 22, 2022

Thailand Lab International 2022 – the 12th exhibition and conference on analytical laboratory & technology, biotechnology & life sciences, chemical & safety, as well as the 3rd Bio Asia Pacific for biotechnology, life sciences and smart health in the Asia Pacific region, and the 1st FutureCHEM International, focusing on solutions for the chemical industry, will be held from 14-16 September 2022, at Hall EH 102-104, BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand.

Thailand’s Lab International/Bio Asia Pacific under one roof in September

This collaborative platform will showcase a wide range of technologies, ranging from Labtech, Biotech, and Medtech to Digital Health, Precision Medicine, Biopharma, and Smart Health Services to chemical solutions, says the organiser VNU Asia Pacific, together with the Science and Technology Trade Association (STTA) and the Thailand Centre of Excellence for Life Sciences (Public Organisation) or TCELS.

Over 90% of the exhibition space has been sold. More than 200+ leading companies from the related industries, both local and international, will exhibit on the show floor, presenting more than 500+ product brands. Numerous global brands, manufacturers, key local traders, and industry leaders, including ThermoFisher, Danaher, Agilent Technologies, Eppendorf, Sartorius, Mettler-Toledo, IKA, Merck, Perkin Elmer, Gibthai, Bara Scientific, Bio-Active, Geneplus, DKSH, Becthai, Science Tech, and Sithiporn Associates, will be presenting their new products and services, showing that Thailand’s Laboratory & Life Sciences Market is back on track and ready for business.

The highlight of the exhibition will be the new product launches by top brands, which will include demonstrations by professionals to bring the products to life and allow traders to make informed purchase decisions. The exhibition will cover a gamut of laboratory equipment, safety for laboratory personnel, innovations in life science and biotechnology, innovations in the chemical industry, analysis and quality inspection of pharmaceutical products, vaccines, cosmetics, petrochemicals, or any other sector that requires laboratory equipment for integrated business development from start to finish.

The launch of new products and the validation of new applications and methods will be this year’s key features to attract trade visitors. The shows are expected to attract more than 10,000 potential buyers and trade visitors over the three show days. The exhibition space is significantly larger than in 2020, says the organiser, comprising the full 12,000+ sq m of Hall 102-104 of the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition and Conference (BITEC).

Thailand Lab International will showcase all analytical laboratory equipment and instruments covering the areas of analysis & testing, calibration & metrology, clinical & safety, research & diagnostic, and environmental development, while Bio Asia Pacific will focus on biotechnology, life sciences, and smart health services, including biopharmaceuticals, precision medicine, preventive health, and digital health.

The new event FutureCHEM INTERNATIONAL will focus on innovative solutions for the chemical industry, especially in the areas of petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food & supplements. According to satisfaction survey reports from previous years, more than 90% of exhibitors and trade visitors are satisfied that the exhibition helps them achieve their trade and business objectives.

Anucha Parnpichate, Senior Project Manager at VNU Asia Pacific notes, “Inviting potential buyers and decision-makers to the event is one of our main goals. We are seeking potential buyers from many countries across Asia Pacific to participate in our exhibition. We have been contacted by many countries that are interested in visiting the event as a group, and some selected countries have been qualified and confirmed, including groups from Vietnam, Cambodia, India, and the Philippines. In particular, the Philippines Association of Medical Technologists has shown great interest in participating in the event for the fourth time after the long pause occasioned by Covid-19. Normally, we select more than 100 potential buyers from many countries to visit the show each year. Given the positive feedback from exhibitors, we will continue to conduct the Hosted Buyer Program as we believe that it helps our exhibitors create more business opportunities, business networks, and connections, which can also generate more investment and cash flow to the country in the last quarter of the year. Moreover, we will provide a user-friendly Online Business Matching Service to pre-arrange appointments among exhibitors and trade buyers or trade visitors so they can meet on-site or online. The online business matching service will facilitate the process of making appointments with your target customers and buyers.”

Furthermore, more than 100 conference and seminar topics will be covered by industry experts, partners, supported associations, and academic institutions during the event. The seminar and conference topics are as follows:
