Risking a shot at eternal beauty
MALAYSIA – Some women are willing to have injections administered by beauty consultants to have fair and supple skin.
Harian Metro reported that these women ignore the health risks, including being exposed to HIV and Hepatitis B.
A woman, who only wanted be known as Suzy, said she met her clients from 2pm until night and injected them at their houses, restaurants or even in the car.
Suzy, who claims to be a beauty consultant, would give them Vitamin C, placenta, collagen, stem cell and glutathione shots.
The service attracts teenagers, housewives and VIPs who want quick results and to look younger. The paper’s reporter witnessed Suzy performing the procedure by finding the right vein to deliver the shot.
Suzy claims her products are from Australia and that the Vitamin C mix costs between RM500 (S$203) and RM1,000 per box.
“I have been doing this business for two years and can make more than RM10,000 a month,” she said.
