ACHSi accredits Fresenius NephroCare Clinics
Fresenius Medical Care celebrates as two of their NephroCare clinics were accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International (ACHSi) on August 21. The clinics were NephroCare Wan Chai and NephroCare Tuen Mun in China.
NephroCare is the renal service arm of Fresenius Medical Care which provides dialysis care to 286,000 patients in its global network of 3,360 renal services clinics.
“We have always strived to put our patients first and provide excellent care. The ACHSi certification was a significant undertaking for NephroCare Wan Chai and NephroCare Tuen Mun and we were delighted to be honoured with four Excellent Extensive Achievement Awards.” says Thorsten Bruce, General Manager of Fresenius Medical Care Hong Kong.
Dr. Kelvin Ho, Medical Director of NephroCare Wan Chai says that the accreditation gives confidence to their patients while Dr. Ho Yiu Wing, Medical Director at NephroCare Tuen Mun cites that the accreditation uplifted team spirit in their nursing team.
