Fatigue-measuring eyeglasses developed
Japanese researchers have developed state-of-the-art eyeglasses that can track your eye movements and determine how tired or sleepy you are.
The product was developed jointly by eyeglass store chain JIN and Tohoku University neuroscientist Ryuta Kawashima.
Small sensors on the eyeglasses detect minute changes in voltage that occur when the eye moves. The glasses are also able to transmit to smartphones other data, like the number of times users blink and how rapidly.
Drowsiness is indicated in 3 levels. A motorist can check to decide when to make a rest stop.
