Heard of the ice cream diet?

Fighting the battle of the bulge makes people come up with all kinds of weird diet fads and here’s another. Apparently, the answer to weight loss can be found in your favourite ice-cream!

According to reports, you can lose up to 13 kilos while eating ice cream. According to a study, the cold treat may actually be able to melt the fat away, owing to it’s slim-down ingredient — calcium. And when the the body does not get enough of calcium, it’s said to make the fat cells grow bigger and store more fat.

The trick is to choose ice creams with 120 or fewer calories per serving. Women can have not more than one cup while men get a cup and a half of it, everyday. It was also noted that this regimen would work as long as dieters also had healthy, low-calorie meals for the rest of the day. The diet recommends a person eats 1,250 calories plus a serving of ice cream each day, to get 1,500 calories daily. It also advocates about half an hour of aerobic exercise at least 3-5 days, per week.
