Post-holiday tips: Easy three-step detox at home

1. Drink more water.
Your body needs water to flush out toxins from the system. Water also aids better digestion, Drink 1.5 to 2 litres of water a day for optimum health.
2. Drink herbal teas.
Herbal teas can help your body to eliminate toxins. Some herbal tea flavours to look out for are rosemary, black radish, artichoke, burdock and lavender.
3. Go for seasonal fruits
Fruits such as apples, oranges, grapefruits and pineapples are rich in vitamin and water and should ideally be eaten before and after a meal.
