‘Epic battle’ ahead in Ebola-hit West Africa
Outgoing Ebola mission chief Anthony Banbury has said that Western Africa still faces a tough road ahead in fighting Ebola.
“I think the response has been successful but we have a long way to go,” Banbury said.
“But two cases here and three there presents a grave threat to any community or country,” he added,
He also asked the international community to continue paying attention to West Africa.
His call amidst the report by World Health Organisation published Wednesday that 7, 890 people of 20, 171 cases have been killed by the virus.
