APHM 2017: Mastersteel Medical adds a breath of fresh air to patient care
Kuala Lumpur: “With fresh thinking to patient care” as a slogan, Malaysian company Mastersteel Medical Sdn Bhd exhibited for the first time at the 25th edition of APHM (Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia) exhibition, held in Kuala Lumpur recently.
“We are new to the market,” said Eric Chan, Sales and Marketing Executive.
With its facility based in Balakong, Selangor, Mastersteel Medical specialises in the manufacture of medical beds and accessories, such as stainless steel/plastic medical furniture as well as hospital and laboratory equipment. Its line of Patient Care products are designed and engineered to provide a good experience to the patient and caregiver, said Chan.
Mastersteel provides technological solutions, site analysis and discussions, laboratory design and mechanical and electrical engineering, installation, testing and commissioning of products.
With a group of young salespeople and design team, Chan states that the company can develop and cultivate new ideas for hospitals.
According to Chan, the company controls the cost of its products based on the materials needed for the medical furniture, especially when it comes to mass production. “Healthcare providers can benefit from the cost efficiency of the products,” said Chan.
“With our cost efficiency, we can conquer the market, we believe,” he added.
The company mostly serves the Malaysian medical market but is also looking at expanding and tendering for more projects in the region, as well as furthering its geographical reach in Malaysia to the states of Terengganu and Kelantan in the east.
As for its international expansion in the next few years, it will be searching for distributors in Myanmar and Indonesia, according to Chan.
