Watch what you eat: Malaysia’s health minister

November 8, 2012

KLANG – Malaysians have been reminded to watch what they eat and to not overeat during the Deepavali festive season.

Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said overeating would lead to all sorts of sickness.

“If you can control what you eat, then you will be free from diseases which is what all of us want,” he said after opening the Health complex at Bandar Botanik on Wednesday.

Liow also launched a diet book containing a list of calories in Indian food and sweets.
