Aspirin ‘no longer recommended’ for heart problems
Aspirin is to no longer be recommended as a treatment for common heart problems, the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has said.
Chair of NICE’s Guidelines Development Group, told the Today programme that blood-thinning drugs known as anticoagulants would be a better alternative for the “vast majority” of people.
