Environment, more than genetics, shape immune system

Environment, more so than genetics, shape our immune system, a new study has found.

Children’s immune system are more likely to be influenced by their parents, but this changes as they become adults, with environment trumping genetics in determining just how strong your immune system is.

“Experience counts more and more as you get older,” said Stanford University immunologist Mark Davis, who is the leader of the study.
