How to fight ageing
We all yearn for a youthful look, but unfortunately, toxins, UV radiation, certain foods and pollution usually damage our cell, tissue and organ over time.
Here are some natural ways to beat ageing:
- Drink plenty of water
Our organs need water to regulate body temperature, flush out toxins, aid digestion and carry nutrients in our cells. The cells also need water to better function and repair damage, so drink plenty of water.
- Take care of your eye area and hands
As we grow older, the signs of aging can appear around our eye area and hands. Treat your eye area to some lightweight moisturizing lotion specifically for the eyes (do not use lotions which are for other areas as they may be too heavy) and exfoliate your hands as you tend to do with your face.
- Consume some fish oil
Studies have shown that fish oil have anti-ageing properties. To be specific, fish oil have anti—inflammatory benefits, improves heart and immune functions. It also helps hair and skin look healthy. Taking fish oil supplements regularly may lower the risk of diseases associated with aging, including coronary heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, arthritis and even Alzheimer’s disease.
