Nuts, seeds and beans increase men’s health

Including more nuts, seeds and beans is a good step towards a good plant-based diet for men, one which is likely to ward off heart disease, cancer, diabetes, stroke, and other chronic conditions, a Harvard study has found.

The study recommended the following:

  • Eat at the right portions. While nuts and seeds are rich in vegetable oils, too much of them can lead to excessive calories.
  • Add beans to your salad, and:
  • Add nuts, seeds, beans and other legumes to your diet, while moving away from a diet based on red meat to a plant-based one.
